Inaugural 2025 MOTOFEST Presented by Troy Lee Designs

@ GLEN HELEN RACEWAY 

EVENT: A 4-day festival style event to be held annually on the weekend immediately prior to round 1 of the outdoor Pro MX Nationals.

PREMIER EVENTS (PRO ONLY) 

• Thursday, May 15: $30,000 Stopwatch National – Livestreamed with MXA - Only event for the day with racing taking place in between the Pro only closed course practice sessions and general open practices.  Racing will consist of 2 motos (combined 250s & 450s) with a $30,000 purse.  Must register to race. GHR will host pro only practice sessions each of the 2 Thursdays prior. 
• Saturday, May 17: $70,000 Pro Showcase Showdown – Livestreamed with MXA, 2-Moto format race on the National MX Track consisting of the top pros in the country.  The $70,000 Purse to be paid out as $35,000 cash to the top 20 finishers from the 250cc and top 20 from the 450cc classes on the day of the event.

 
SATURDAY & SUNDAY MOTOFEST CHAMPIONSHIP (AMATEUR RACING) 

Two disciplines of racing will occur over the weekend (in addition to other events). The overall MOTOFEST Champions for each class will be determined by the riders with the combined best score for both races. Must compete in both disciplines to be eligible and have at least 6 riders per class. Scoring will be Olympic style. The 50cc & 65cc beginner classes will be based on the MX Race & Stadiumcross.

WEEKEND AMATEUR SUMMARY

THURSDAY: Stopwatch National & Open Practice (separated)

FRIDAY: Open Practice (separated)  
SATURDAY: Motocross Racing on National Track (2 moto format) 
Featured Event: Pro Showcase Showdown 
SATURDAY NIGHT: Stadiumcross (Beginner 50cc & 65cc classes only) - Double points 

SUNDAY: MX Grand Prix (8-10 mile course throughout the facility) Double points

• 2nd Annual Stopwatch National click here to register.

Friday:   

• Movie and Dinner in Museum – Friday night will be enjoyed by all in the Glen Helen museum watching a motocross movie with popcorn and soda in hand. 
• Vintage Bike show arranged by Rick Doughty will be on display all weekend

Saturday: 

• Saturday MX- Traditional style 2 Moto format MX racing for all other amateurs on the MX National Track. This race would be the 1^st of the 2 different disciplines of racing with results counting towards the overall weekend MOTOFEST Championship. 
• Pro Showcase Showdown – 250cc and 450cc Pro only race. $35,000 on the line for each class. Run as motos during the amateur MX racing. Live streamed on MXA youtube channel and MavTV at a later date.
• Stacyc and 50cc/65cc Night Races/Events (RUN BY AME)– Opportunity for youth participation and racing to occur on Saturday evening at the Stadiumcross track. This will also be the 2^nd and final discipline for the 50cc/65cc beginner classes. The evening might include some pit bike racing as well, so be sure to pack in your pit bike. 

Sunday:  

• Amateur Grand Prix – Traditional grand prix style 45-minute race to be held first thing Sunday morning, utilizing all aspects of the Glen Helen facility.  The 2^nd and final discipline with results counting towards the overall championship 
• MOTOFEST Championship Award Presentation – The overall winners will be crowned as the 2025 MOTOFEST Champion based upon results of combined 2 disciplines (MX and GP).
