Rider Instructions

IMPORTANT!!! Racers must race in the same skill level! No changing skill level in a second class.

 All Racers must race the skill level that they race at other events  –you cannot move down skill level for this event!

CHECK-IN

  • Located at the Main tower at the end of Walk of Fame
  • Sign up opens/closes at the following times each day.
    • Thursday, October 29th   –  9am – 5pm
    • Friday, October 30th  –      6am-5pm
    • Saturday, November31st– 6am-5pm
    • Sunday, November 1st– 6am-3pm
  • ALL racers must bring a form of ID - Driver License or Passport.  This will be need for 2 reasons:
  1. Verify your age.  Must be the age you are registered on the day of the race
  2. To be issued a Transponder you must have your DL or Passport. You may leave either of these items as collateral for the transponder, or another item that has the rider’s name on it.
  • For Pre-Registered Riders (Completed online sign up in advance)
    • Riders that have their transponders will only need to verify their age and receive their swag bags (this will be located right outside south door of the tower under the awning).
    • Riders that need a transponder will need to verify their age and proceed to the first door of the tower to get their Transponder (ID will be held until transponder is returned- if Transponder is not received racers will be charged $200).
  • Post-Registration (Riders signing up during the event)
    • Post-Entries will still need to verify their age outside the tower.
    • Post-registration is located at that second door of the tower. 
    • Post-entry pricing will be more expensive and transponder availability is not guaranteed. It is highly recommended that you pre-enter and purchase your own transponder in advance. All registration is done online
    • Transponders can be used at most US events and international events. Purchase your transponder here: https://speedhiveshop.mylaps.com/mx.html.
      • There is a set-up process for a new transponder. Plan to have it ahead of time to complete the set-up process that is required.
  • All Racers:
    • Legible Numbers must be on your bike to guarantee a correct score.
      • Hand scoring is completed as a backup to transponders in the event of technical difficulties. Having no numbers or numbers that are hard to read may lead to you not being scored.
      • Examples of illegible numbers: Black numbers on blue plates; smoky or metallic numbers, white numbers on a white number plate.
    • We will have duplicate rider numbers. It is important to check the staging board in advance to see if we have added a letter to your race number.
      • You are not required to add the number to your number plate, but it is appreciated.
    • If a borrowed Transponder is not returned racers will be charged $200.
    • Updating the number on your bike or changing classes can be completed at registration.
    • The Official Race Order will be posted on race day at the Tower and the entrance to vendor row.

RACING FORMAT

  • This will be a 3-Moto format event.
  • One Moto per Class Friday, Saturday and Sunday .(3-days of racing)
  • All three motos count for the overall scores.
  • Pro Motos will only have 2 motos and race on the same day – see below: 
    • Saturday – Pasha 125cc 30 Pro; 50 Pro, 1st Moto World Cup
    • Sunday – 30 Pro ; 40 Pro, Pasha 50 Pro; World Cup Moto 2 
  • The World Cup will have 1st Moto Saturday and 2nd Moto Sunday
  • Race Order will be posted Approx 2-weeks before the race. Please note Race Schedule is subject to change.

STAGING

  • Located to the South of the Starting Gate. Look for “STAGING” banners
  • Gate order pick will be posted at the entrance of the Vendor Row and at the Tower
  • Make sure you come to staging 2 races before your event.
    • If you are there earlier than two races you will be asked to wait outside of vendor row. Please stay to side so the riders that are in the races before you can get by. 
  • Go to the starting line when your number is called for your race - we will have duplicate numbers – make sure to check the board that we didn’t add a letter to your number.
    • Numbers are mandatory and must be the number you signed up with.
  • A division race will be held for classes with more than 40 riders.
    • If you are in the division race your first moto will count as the qualifier. The top 20 in each division race will move to the A group (gate 1) where moto 2 and 3 will count as our overall results for division races.  We will have all other racers in the B Group on gate 2 (No trophies in the B Group).

RESULTS

  • Results will be posted at the tower and entrance to vendor row.   
  • All results are official 30 minutes AFTER they are posted. Results will not change after the 30 minutes and cannot be protested.
  • Awards will be for top 5 in each class at the end of all 3 motos.
  • Awards can be received at GHR Museum located near the starting line.
